Calls, but doesn't leave message. I do not recognize phone number and will not answer

called today at 4:08pm CST. Call was not answered as there are too many strange calls these days. This may be a "spoofed" call - a call made from another phone that identifies itself with the above Verizon number. If this is true, Verizon cannot do anything about it. One of our politicians (midwest), had a service that would call "from" a number identified as originating in Canada, and if answered, the politicians phone call would come thru shortly after hanging up on the Canada call (which no one would respond when answered). After it happened a few times, it became clear who was triggering the Canada call. Fortunately, that politician is not doing that anymore.

Calls sometimes asking for my first name or just hangs up when I answer. It is very annoying and don't know what they want or who they are. My caller ID says the name of the caller is Dr.

They keep calling but will not answer and not stop calling.

Thinking it was one of my New York relatives, I called it back via Skype several times and got no answer after a dozen rings, then it hung up by itself. It seems to be based in Ithaca.

Makes threats at my job.

I never registered in any David's Bridal, but this number has been calling me for the past week. I finally answered today and the woman said I was in a contest and she wanted to verify my address (don't know how she knew) and she asked if I was married or single. weird

Scam,they call to get personel info,ie bank account number etc.threating tone for info.report to local police this is an offshore SCAM.

For two weeks you've been calling me acting crazy. I did not, no one has called you from this residence. You know, this has been going on for a pretty good while of me getting phone calls being cussed out, and someone claiming that I've been calling their number. I ain't called you!
